Diane Curtis grew up on the shores of Lake Michigan and matured in the mountains of Colorado.  Her paintings reflect the emotional attachment to these places.  Rocks, water, the color of sand and sea can be found in her work. 

She paints in oil and acrylic in an abstract mode to express her feelings about the plethora of life experiences. 

 

Where our earth is headed in the future is also a concern of hers.  While painting the beauty of the earth, she also is trying to wake people to change.
